Become a Patron’s Circle member today!

The Iron Horse Arts District has applied to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, but hasn't received that official designation yet. That said, we're operating as a nonprofit in the meantime. If you need a letter for tax purposes, please reach out to info@ironhorsedistrict.org.

If you prefer to pay monthly, just select the “Custom Amount” option and set it to the monthly amount that’s equivalent to the level you’re most interested in. For example, $6,000 per year and $500 monthly will both give you Legacy Founder benefits.

  • The Iron Horse Arts District is a one-mile area in downtown Holdrege, NE.

    Our mission? To foster a vibrant and inclusive community where arts and culture thrive by supporting local creativity, enhancing public spaces, and creating opportunities for artistic expression and engagement.

  • No, the Iron Horse Arts District isn’t part of the Bronze Sculpture Group or the Midtown Sculpture Garden, although some of our volunteers are members of those groups as well. That said, we appreciate and enjoy the bronzes and the MSG! In fact, the idea for IHAD was formed after the Midtown Sculpture Garden got underway.

  • Not yet, but we’re working on the paperwork. It can take up to a year for that to get approved through all of the various governmental groups. We are a nonprofit and operate as such, and we anticipate the official 501(c)(3) designation in 2025 (fingers crossed).
